Learning Aids Contained in this Course

This course provides a practical approach to the subject and gives you a rich variety of examples and applications to illustrate the main principles through simple, yet effective learning aids.

Scattered throughout, are insightful thought primers that will set you thinking of what you have just read, learning activities and case studies that will help you reflect on issues as if you were facing them in the real-world.

Towards the end of each module are a collection of rich review questions to help you assimilate what you have learned and put your knowledge and skills to the test.

And as you study the course you are able to make your summary notes for ease of reference and revision.Click on the Notes button on the top right of the LMS to be able to access that and the notes made are autosaved meaning that you can access them anytime during your study period by clicking on Notes on your Student Portal.

Examination

To qualify for certification, you will be required to complete an end-of-course online examination.

When you feel adequately prepared, you may book your examination through the Student Portal by selecting Exams Booking and choosing your preferred examination date and time within your active study period.

The examination is based on Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) and a minimum pass mark of 70% is required for successful completion of the programme.

We strongly encourage you to schedule your examination only after completing all course modules and thoroughly reviewing the course materials.

Access to Course Materials

Please note that access to the course materials through the LMS is available only during your active study period. Once you have completed the programme or your study period has expired, access to the learning materials will no longer be available.

You are therefore encouraged to progress consistently through the course, make effective use of the Notes feature, and complete any revision activities before undertaking your examination.

All examination times displayed within the Examination Booking section of the Student Portal are based on East Africa Time (EAT) (UTC+3).

Learners are responsible for confirming the corresponding examination time in their own country, region, or time zone before completing their examination booking. Failure to account for time zone differences may result in missed examination appointments.

We strongly encourage all learners to verify local time conversions prior to booking and sitting for their examination to ensure timely attendance.
